How to use it: Book one hotel night through the Chase portal each year. If you already used the old $50 credit before the refresh, Chase gave you another $50 — check whether yours is waiting.
Note the calendar: like the Reserve's travel credit, this runs on the account anniversary year, not January to December.
How much is the Sapphire Preferred DoorDash grocery promo?
The Sapphire Preferred DoorDash promo is worth $120 per year: $10 off one grocery or convenience order per calendar month, through December 31, 2027. Activating DashPass through DoorDash is required (the membership itself is free through December 31, 2027).
How to use it: Activate DashPass once. Then route one grocery order a month through DoorDash. That's $120 a year — more than the annual fee by itself.
Don't confuse it with the Reserve: the Preferred gets the grocery promo only. The Reserve's restaurant promos don't exist on this card.
Is DashPass free with the Sapphire Preferred?
Yes. DashPass membership is free through December 31, 2027, with $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible DoorDash orders. You must activate by December 31, 2027.
Watch out: after the promo period, DashPass auto-enrolls at full price. Set a reminder for late 2027 or you'll start paying for something that was free.
